Please Support The NW7Hub Foodbank
Our Foodbank is in crisis due to recent government cuts and the shutdown of our main supplier, Barnet Food Hub, which provided 80% of our inventory.
This partnership enabled us to open twice weekly to assist those facing food poverty.
Your contributions are now even more significant! Our Foodbank continues to support over 200 families weekly from Mill Hill and nearby areas.
It operates thanks to a group of committed volunteers who are dedicated to alleviating local food poverty and uphold our conviction that no one should go to bed hungry.
Recognizing food as a fundamental human right is vital for the health and well-being
of our community, and we stand ready to assist anyone in need of an emergency
food parcel.

In response to demand, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign.
The funds raised will help us acquire items and ingredients that are in high demand
for our Christmas parcels.
This initiative aligns with our commitment to nourish families during the winter season and further, making certain that no individual in our community faces adversity or food scarcity alone.

Every donation is deeply valued and significantly impacts the lives of those in need.
Recently a foodbank member generously donated a £120 Sainsbury's voucher
as a token of her appreciation for the assistance she received from our foodbank
while her husband was ill.
She explained that the money she saved on food allowed her to transport her husband
to his medical appointments.
We are profoundly thankful for her consideration of us and others in her time of hardship.

To supplement our food parcels, we grow food on-site to demonstrate the importance
of biodiversity and the impact of healthy eating on well-being.
Additionally, we offer regular gardening sessions designed for community members
of all abilities to partake in a sensory experience and acquire new skills.
Community involvement has enhanced the beauty of our site and embodies
our dedication
to a vision of a healthier, sustainable future, if you are interested in being part of our Foodbank service, please get in touch with Manisha at host@nw7hub.org.uk
